Blinko

The mechanic

How to play Blinko

Two players. One live charge. Whoever is holding it when it blows loses the pot.

You keep 95% of every pot you win.

Duel nowWatch a round

In one paragraph

The charge is handed to one of you at random. Its heat climbs while you hold it. Pass it back and the heat keeps climbing for whoever holds it next. It detonates at a point fixed before the round began — somewhere between 2.80° and 100.00° — and the player holding it at that moment loses the round.

The rules

01 · Stake

Both players put up the same amount. Nothing else is at risk — you cannot lose more than your stake.

02 · The lockout

You must hold for 0.5 seconds before you can pass. Both players get the same 0.5 seconds, measured on server time.

03 · The blast

Set before the round starts, committed as a hash, revealed after. Between 2.80° and 100.00°.

To break even long-term you need to win 52.63% of your duels. For evenly matched players, the expected split is 50/50 — the 5% is the cost of playing.

A hundred duels at 10.00 USDT, evenly matched, costs 50.00 USDT on average. Playing longer does not win that back — it accumulates it.

Where you can play

DEMO

Local, against a bot. No stakes, no account, no money — and no server round proof, because there is no money outcome to prove.

TEST

A full server round with the real rules and the real fairness proof, without real money at stake.

USDT

Real money, settled in USDT on the TRON network. The rake applies and the round can be checked afterwards.

Is it fair?

The blast point is fixed and published as a hash before either player acts, so it cannot be changed once the round is running. After the round the server reveals the value behind that hash and your own browser can recompute the result.

Common questions

Can Blinko decide who loses after play starts?

No. The blast point is fixed before the first pass and its hash is published in advance. Changing it afterwards would break that hash, and any player can check it.

Is Blinko skill or chance?

Both, unevenly. The blast point is chance and cannot be predicted. When you pass is a decision, and passing earlier shortens how long the charge sits with you. Skill moves the odds inside a round; it does not move the rake you pay on every round.

What happens if my opponent disconnects?

The round is cancelled rather than resolved against either player, and stakes are returned. Deriving the outcome needs both contributions.

Can I play without staking money?

Yes. DEMO runs locally in your browser against a bot — no stakes, no account. It creates no server round proof, because there is no money outcome to prove.
